Blazers pulse is pretty difficult for me to watch. I bet EL P enjoys it.

Haha, I'm a huge fan and have no issues with LMA. I just thought it was funny and somewhat fitting.

Oh not actually calling you out as a hater. Just pointing out how bipolar these game threads can be.

Sometimes I hate posting in here during games because of it but it's like crack. I can't help but post and read

    Kaman now averaging:

    17.6 PTS/36
    12.7 REB/36
    2.8 BLK/36

Take THAT all you dorks that wanted Hawes and were disappointed when we got Kaman. Most teams would be lucky to have a starting center that could put up those kind of numbers.

For the sake of comparison, here's Hawes' per-36 numbers:

    13.6 PTS/36
    7.9 REB/36
    1.5 BLK/36

Turns out Kaman isn't just a better fit, he's a better player (but some of us knew that...)

Kaman is the type of player who provides the things needed for a team like Portland to be diverse enough to contend for a championship.

Steve Blake defensively helps a lot too towards contending.

Just got to our hotel here in The Mile High City about 15 minutes ago...... these home-Denver back to backs are brutal!

Mood on the plane was business as usual.

The Evil Emperor joined us on the trip....... did I mention it was cold as shit here? #RipCityFAMS

He only hits about 40% of them though, and there's a certain variety that he seems to hit even less. It's only saving grace is that it's unlikely to result in a turnover. 40% on a 2pt shot is abysmal.

If we got a conventional PF and SF, Lillard would get a lot more shots and would shoot a higher percentage. Aldridge and Batum play ugly-ball.

I often do not understand your logic. This post is no exception. How would a conventional PF (and or SF) benefit Lillard? It seems seems to me both LA and NB help him get higher percentage shots by spreading the floor and allowing him more room to attack the basket. Plus Nic handling the ball allows Dame to move without the ball. Do you have some examples of the type of conventional PF's you would prefer over LA?

    LaMarcus Aldridge: 2FG% = .473
    Kevin Love: 2FG% = .378

Didn't Sinobas want Love over Aldridge?

Lillard is a better playmaker and shooter than Batum. I'd rather see Lillard deciding when to assist and when to shoot than the mediocre Batum.

Seriously? Dame had 7 assists and 6 turnovers last night.

And for the most part Lillard does, since he handles the ball on most possessions. But I still don't understand how a more "conventional" PF would give Dame higher percentage shots. Especially if those conventional PF's do not draw double teams or are exceptionally good passers. I am sure you could make an argument for a couple of PF's, but I doubt they would be "conventional".
