I missed the game and just read this thread this morning.... seriously go back and read the 1st 3/4 of it, pure comedy, like reading a Laker Nation thread.

Remember when some of us wanted Marvin Williams as our backup PF? That was a long time ago. His line last night was abysmal.

If the team starts playing badly, I find it's better for my own sanity if I turn off the stream and just follow the boxscore and the game thread. It's more entertaining that way.

Batum makes about 10 times as many bonehead passes/dribbles as Lillard. Sometimes he makes about 3 in a row, like Felton. He overrates himself as a playmaker.

Clearly Lamarcus was terrible with his 25pts and 14 rebounds.

So far, Aldridge is having the highest "PER" of his career.

I just don't get Dorell Wright. The guy has the chance to be a major contributor off the bench for a possible contender, yet by all apearances he mailed in his off season, and is completely impotent this season so far. He has gotten progressively worse the longer he's been here. I am one who thought he was a lot better than he's shown. And I think he probably is, if he gave a crap.

Look at his stats in Philly. He was pretty horrible there as well.

Batum is our guy who finds Rolo, Kaman or LA in the post for the dish. He makes great plays on assists in the post. Rolo's offensive game has thrived when Nico is on the floor. Dame is not great at feeding the guys in the paint. For offensive production from the center position, Batum trumps Lillard as a facilitator. Nobody on our team is a stellar passer around the backcourt. That's an issue the whole team needs to address.

Why are you feeding the troll? He, like Kingspeed, says these things for these type of responses.

The game before he had 7 assists and 0 turnovers...

This year Lillard's assist to TO ratio is 2.35, compared to Batum's 2.5. This early in the season that's virtually identical. They both can make plays and they both turn it over at times, but I wouldn't call either mediocre.

anything over 2 is above average for playmakers

    In fact, http://stats.nba.com/tracking/#!/player/passing/

Dame is 10th in the league in passing, while Batum is 23rd. Both above averaging on the "passing" matrix

Interesting how both are above Lebron at the moment but both are below James Harden. Didn't see that one coming.

    I didn't either

I absolutely hate Harden but the dude is balling this season. His defense is even good so far.

That's actually just sorted by total assists. I don't know what a "passing matrix" is but you're reading the stats wrong. It doesn't say much when the number of games played is uneven. If you actually sort it by points created by assists, Dame is 18th and Nic is 17th.

That is an averaging of all passing stats

Please take a closer look at the stats page.....you're still completely reading it wrong. It's sorted by the total assists column.
