The shot you are talking about he is hitting at a 47% clip so far. The EDIT: (10 to <16) is when he's on the block. Usually this is his fade away turn around shot.

I just wish LA and Dame would get the same treatment as a Westbrook and Durant. Some of the drives that Dame makes would easily be an And One for Westbrook or Harden. He takes contact, but there's no call. I would complain about the refs a hell of a lot less if it was called the same for both teams.

Aldridge is starting to get calls now.

Yeah, but those other players get 8-10 FTA per game.

Durant averaged 9.9 FTA last year.

Westbrook is averaging 8 FTA this year.

Harden averaged 11 FTA last year.

While LaMarcus has never averaged more than 5.5 in a season. There's a definite difference in how the refs protect someone like Durant or Westbrook, and how they protect LA.

This thread should be merged with the thread titled "Crabbe has a 52.2 PER"

I agree that Aldridge isn't getting calls like Durant and others like him, but he is getting some calls. Dame, on the other hand, is getting fucking mugged time and time again, yet the refs swallow their whistles.

He really isn't getting more calls though. If you look at his numbers, he's right around 5.5 FTA, which is pretty close to where he's been for the past four or five years. He's not getting superstar treatment, but he should be.

It's interesting because I watched some of the highlights from last night, and Dame made at least two or three layups that would have been an And One if it was someone like Rose, Westbrook, or Harden.

Are you really saying that the nba isn't a Stars league and that guys like durant and harden get some star treatment?

He's shooting it quite well, at the moment (46%). I expect that over the course of the season he'll regress to his average which is around 42-43%. That's not great.

As is to be expected he's already leading all Forwards with 6.3 FGA from 15-19' (and tied for first in the entire league with DeRozan). Yet, of all the forwards who shoot 3+ time from this distance there are 8 who shoot it with better accuracy.

This is who he is. As much as we all want him to play in the paint, he'll always be a league-leader in FGA from the least efficient spot on the floor. And there will be games where he hits them at a good clip, but he'll never be a league-leader in FG% from the range where most of his shots come from.

There is a difference this season to last seasons though. He usually starts off slow and progressively gets better, usually peaking around January. So your concept that it drops isn't based on past history.

Are you saying there will be a new trend?
