I'm pretty sure, though, that the "increase in wages to ICE workers" can only happen if congress signs off on it. The President has no budget.
Anybody who isn't a Native American, but was born here, is a descendant of someone who immigrated because they wanted to find a better life, much like people are now. Tell me again how this is "Tyranny at its finest"?
OK Ghost I'll entertain your question. When the POTUS and or congress ignores the law/constitution and or the people(keep in mind here "the government is supposed to be of the people for the people" in compliance of the constitution)and excerises executive power especially against ones own laws that's tyranny. Another example is Obummercare, 59% of the people didn't want Obummercare yet congress forced it down our throats, and this is the best part, the people that passed Obummercare(congress)are exempt from Obummercare. Getting back to the illegal alien issue there are proper ways to become a US citizen and those channels are to be followed when one wants to become a citizen. My ancesters came over from Europe in the 1800s and went through Ellis Island at that time to become citizens. I have a friend at work that came here from Guatemala, had to ask and receive permission to leave his country. When he arrived here he went through the process to become a citizen the legal way (yes he said it wasn't easy)and now he's really ticked off to say the least to see what the illegal aliens are receiving for breaking the law after what he went through to come here the legal way. I have respect for that man. I'm a bit suprised you couldn't or didn't want to "read between the lines" here bud. Tyranny is all around us, it's time to wake up and smell the coffee before it's too late. Just for the record I think it is too late.
Not really sure what's making you angry, just asking a question. Correct me if I'm wrong. Basically what this tells me is you don't have a problem with the way the Native Americans' were taken over in the 1700-1800's? Also, your family wasn't the only family to migrate from a different country in this time period, and can't really be used as an example for how many families total migrated legally or illegally. Finally, referring to your anti-Obamacare statements, there are a lot of things that congress has "forced down our throats", yet there hasn't been much complaining until it happened to be created by a Democrat president?
Not angry, at you. I just gave a couple examples of the most recent tyranny. It sounds like you know there are many many more. Democrat has nothing to do with widespread tyranny that's been slowly progressing for generations. Perhaps you missed the point on illegal immigration. Immigration is fine and it's the foundation of this country. There is a legal way to enter this country and an illegal way and out current POTUS seems to be wiping his hind end with the legal way for the illegals. I don't know how to explain it any better.
