Not the time for a letdown. Rangers need to hit that
accelerator and keep your skates moving. Please not
another Oiler game. Have fun guys. :chestbump:

Once again, holding pucks too long, inaccuracy and leaving people open on the defensive end. They need another big forward.

Most of guys dont get up for every game so they cant match other teams intensity on regular basis. It is like they are just happy that they beat pittsburgh and now are looking forward to Saturday already.

Plus Colorado is coming off the blowout so you know they'll be better.

They look lethargic. Aimless movement. And they are losing in
    2nd period. Ugh!

Well, that was a nice ending to the period. Fast does not look like he is going to amount to anything but he always plays on the fourth line. I would like to see him move up to at least third line and move stemp to fourth.

Tough goal to give up to tie it a 3. Hank wasn't fully ready for that one. Meaning, he was in good position but did not have a great grip on his stick. No reason why that goal goes in when your stick in covering your 5 but as the replay showed, the blade of his stick turned into his pad and when through the 5. Oh well, they happen sometimes. Plenty of time to get it back for the W.

How unlucky and lucky can we be within seconds of each other?

Another point pissed away, just another night in ranger land. Put in a good effort though since the middle of the second.

Brassard hits the post early in a prelude of another night of missed chances. Boyle is a huge, make that HUGE upgrade over the bumbling Kostka. Hayes was a steal by Glen, don't see him going anywhere but up. Terrible job by Moore on the first goal, lazy fundamentals by Hank on the third goal. I'd say they were lucky to get a point.

It's going to take Boyle and the team at least 5 games to get some PP rhythm. Biggest problem right now is the team doesn't have a third line center. Thus, doesn't have a third line. If that changes, they will start winning a lot.

They do have third line center in Hayes. He looked good last night. Didn't the third line score last night? Not sure why you have an issue with him.

The whole team cant put together a consistent 60 minute effort, that's the problem.

I like Hayes there as well. My worry was that he would be too much of a plodding skater to play with Hags but that hasn't seemed to be an issue. He has the size amd creativity, he just needs to figure out how to at least be competitive in the faceoff circle.

They should deal for Vermette, however they need to get it done. Dom Moore was useful last year but just doesn't give them the offensive ability Vermette would. Hayes is looking better every game and is the good because of his long reach on a team of mostly small players.
