Oh nice it's been updated?! I've been waiting for these stats. I agree, wright shouldn't ever touch a minute
Lopez and Batum are surprisingly low. Crabbe and TRob could be byproducts of a small sample size, but CJ is more impressive.
On off net ratings are misleading because when one of our players gains a stat its taken away from a teammate.
I have no idea what 82 games through yesterday refers to and what the stat chart applies to Schilly. I see numbers that in some cases make no sense and Claver is not on the list? A bench player could be on the court for 1 made shot and a couple of freethrows while the team is building a lead and improve his stats but not be a better player on other levels or aspects of the game. Seems to ignore intangibles. Rolo's stats seem unrealistic as he's been on the winning side of most of the qtrs he's part of.How could Allan Crabbe be higher up the chart than Damian Lillard? Because he didn't see the court in games we lost maybe?
I know but he said, Wright should never enter the game. My response is with someone who has similar numbers in the People's Champ!
Point is his numbers are similar yet you get the feeling everyone and their dog loves this kat so almost a pass is given to him.
It's a misleading stat. Players who aren't big scorers but do other things, like Blake, get screwed. He often defends the best opposing guard and keeps all the other Blazers in the flow of the offense. Starters Batum and Lopez aren't main scorers but like Blake, have other jobs they perform with zest. but its still fun to look at.
Being a -17 is bad no matter how you try and excuse it. A -1 through -8 are fine for bench players. Starters should never be a minus IMO.
I'd be fine if Lopez were as bad as -3. He isn't designed to be a big scorer and he help defends give players instead of just his opposing center. But the more and starter dips into the negatives the more other starters need to climb sky high.
