We will see what kind of character these
Rangers have. Team is still trying to find
itself. It is never easy. And tonight won't
    be any different. :smack:

Tonight will be a very tough game to win after the way we beat them down on Tuesday night at MSG. But...that's why they play the games. We'll drop the puck and give it our best shot. Play a smart game and stay out of the box and we'll have at least a shot.

Solid first period as they hold a 2-1 lead.

Played well. Quick response to the somewhat soft goal Hank allowed. Good to see.

BTW...having Boyle back there really makes this PP much better. He is going to be a good weapon for us this season IMO.

Can't blame Hank. Bad turnover by Boyle and a heck of shot by Malkin. Off the post and then hit Hank from behind.

I posted that after the 1st goal not the 2nd goal. The first goal was somewhat soft. The 2nd goal was a whiff by Boyle that gave Malkin a good chance. Can't go crazy, but Boyle needs to keep his eye on the puck when he tries to pass it.

I think Hank got his focus back after Malkin's goal though. Didn't think he was as sharp as usual until that point. Played really well after Malkin's goal.

And how about Cindy whining after the 1st and then slamming his stick after not getting a call in the 2nd. These refs are afraid of him and that's why he doesn't get a penalty. The NHL made such a dumb decision pushing this guy as the face. My lord he is a whiny bi*ch. He is not the guy I would want as the face of my league. A whiny little baby.

A lot of stick work in this game...crosby jumping "over" hank...if his name was anyone else penalty...crybaby smashing his stick against the glass in the second period...so sportsman like

I'll tell you, I fucking hate the Pens. Are we ever going to be healthy on D. It is almost comical now. We lose dman after dman. And watch them get a PP here.

    I hate them...

I have no respect for the Pens...none. Their fans are all a joke who never showed up until they got Cindy. They made their team by tanking. The NHL handed them Cindy. And despite all the ass kissing the NHL does for the Pens they have ONE cup in all these Cindy/Malkin years.

I don't mind going to OT tonight. That is a good point even if we lose in OT or the SO. To get 3 of 4 points against the Pens this week, the Pens who have won like 8 straight games against the rest of the NHL, is really solid.

We certainly may Al. All I am saying is I am very happy with the effort and getting at least 1 point tonight. Solid job by the team tonight win or lose in OT/SO.
