He's a tough defender and he's very athletic, he has disrupted Carmelo in big games (especially in the playoffs). Let's see if Melo gets revenge and continues his hot scoring streak.</span> CelticBalla's Extra Thoughts/NotesIt will be interesting to see if Denver can keep it going. They are coming off a 140-129 win against Golden State (and no overtimes!), will they feel "too good" after that? We'll see. CelticBalla's PredictionI see Denver winning this one at home. They may not have much of a comparison to match up against Brand, but the perimeter play (led by the NBA's leading scorer, Carmelo Anthony) mixed with their fast break buckets, I think they will outplay LA and take the home W.
Nice preview I'm going to be watching this game and it should be close. Nuggets of course need a win here to take over their division which is currently being led by the surprise of the season, the Jazz. Melo is having big games and Kaman vs. Camby is a great matchup, if Kaman does play. This is gonna be a good game, I think the Nuggets will take it at home.
Oh baby! I can't wait for this game tonight. Clippers-Nuggets games are always exciting. I don't see us losing this one we are on a roll (7-1 since K-Marts injury)I'm pumped.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Renton @ Nov 26 2006, 09:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>So what did you guys of that T Melo received after he dunked it earlier in the second quarter?</div>He hung on the rim longer than he should have. I think they are too strict with that, but a rule is a rule, it's been that way for a long time. Nothing terrible about that call.Melo is really playing well. He's running, catching lobs, posting up, getting to the line. I mean that's typical Melo, he does it all offensively. Reggie Evans has been excellent! Great energy and great job on the boards. Joe Smith and Earl Boykins brought some good play off the bench as well. For LA, Maggette has been playing well thus far, but nobody else really did much. Singleton brought some energy, as did Livingston, but these guys really need to get it together. Hopefully Sam I Am Cassell can come back ok and help make some things happen. Also, LA needs to get the ball to Brand on the block more.
Man I bet Tony is pissed after they blew that big lead. They basically let the Clippers get back in to the game by being stupid with the ball. I bet coach karl got super pissed when Boykins got it stolen from him right out of the timeout. Aside from that, Carmelo is playing pretty dang good as normal. Man o man is he talented..
Great performance by Melo (33 points) and the nuggets however nothing was falling in for the Clippers, nearly every shot fell short they need to run some shooting drills before their next game. 103-88 Nuggets owned the entire game with the exception of one second quarter run by the Clippers however it was shut down.
Melo had a very good game, he does it ALL. J.R. Smith had an excellent game, Andre Miller had himself a nice game, Reggie Evans was great off the bench, Joe Smith was great off the bench, Camby blocked shots. Mix that in with LA getting ZERO offensive flow, that's the reason for the win. The only Clipper that really played well was Corey Maggette.
Melo is always a good player to watch, very entertaining. If I was him, I would have swung a few extra times on that dunk he got called for.
Dammit! I was out with my friends all night and I missed the game. I thought it started at 10:30, I had them drop me off early so I could catch the game.
This was a good win. I always love it when we beat the Clippers! It feels so good to beat those f*cking Alien looking players haha.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>JR SMITH!!!!! Who saw that follow and that poster?!?! God damn he's an athletic freak!</div>That was sick, he is the perfect fit for us!The only player I was disappointed in was Boykins. In the late 1st and 2nd when he was in he made some bad decisions. He tried for the behind the back pass that went right to the Clippers, he took some horrible shots, and then he let Q-rich steal it from him after the timeout! He did make the buzzer beater, but I would rather have all his turnovers back than that.

This was an incredible game. SO MANY DUNKS!! OMG.. That Joe Smith dunk faking the two defenders was very badass. The Camby-to-Melo alleyoop, Melo throwdown on the fastbreak, and JR Smith's posterization on Camby was also badass.
