Hank stops two breakaways in OT...wow.

Another SO. Have to favor them with all their skilled players and the fact we have strugled to score in SO's, but we'll see. I think our shot was that 4 on 3 PP which we didn't shoot nearly enough as you mentioned Al. And not sure why Nash and Boyle weren't on there at the end, but so be it.

The Rangers were too passive during the OT PP. Too much passing and not enough shots.

    YES!!!!

Boyle makes up for the mistake on the 2nd Pens goal. HUGE 2 points tonight. Too passive on PP...agreed, but made up for it in the SO.

    Awesome stuff.

And that idiotic overreaction is why nobody can stand the Pens.

Well...that f*cking sucks. A point just goes away. SO's not our friend this year. Frustrating. Still a very good point, but when you think you have it won, and then have to come back out to lose a point it is frustrating.

And I suggest leaving Nash off the SO's moving forward. The guy does pretty much the same move every time. He needs to add a shot to his SO arsenal. And MZA didn't even get a shot, which is frustrating.

The Pens are the Pens...always will be. Everything about them is fake and over the top...it is who they are. And the NHL eats it up. Is what it is.

Unbelievable. Hank stands on his head, saves our asses several times then stands straight up and gets beat 5 whole without even moving for the shootout win for Pitt. DAMN IT!

Just happened to bank back off his stick. Oh well, crazy game but at least it was a point and Girardi is ok.

I guess the little victories are just as important at this time of year. Something to build on.

It is a gray area. You are allowed one shot at the goal...but on the flip side I can also see the rule saying if the natural follow through of the player leads to the puck going in off of him it should count. Either way the rule is the rule...and it did hit his stick a 2nd time off the post. Frustrating...but still a very good point IMO. Team is playing well. Big picture I really like this team. We get that 3rd line worked out and McD back within 2-3 weeks and we'll be in a good spot IMO.

    Re: Rangers at Penguins r

Well boys. Just smashed my remote. That hasn't happened since the Giants playoff disaster in San Fran starring Trey Junkin and Matt Allen. Really gonna regret that one tomorrow am.

Fuck the Pens. Rangers will remember them laughing it up afterward and we'll get em when it matters.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.

John Moore needs to get his act together, he looks lost right now. And I still think they need to trade for another forward.

Overall the team is playing well I think. A lot of home games yes, but also a ton of injuries thus far. Stepan missed 12 games or so. Boyle missed 15 games or so. Had a game where we were down to 4 dmen. Moore suspended for 5 games. McD out 2 weeks already. MZA missed a few games. I am happy with where we are at. Clean up a few things and I think we are ready to go on a roll. I like this team...I really do. May need to deal for another forward for the 3rd line, but outside of that I like what this team has.

The Rangers while leaving the bench were pretty much laughing at the absurd Pittsburgh reaction.
