    Justin (27) 29 / 102 / 270 in 2014 is due $14.5 next season (final year) So unless the Cards can resign him, its a one year rental. Its a shame the Braves are still stuck with his older brother BJ (30) who's due over $46M over the next 3 years. In 2014 his number were, 12 / 35 / 208. Talk about an albatross.

    And who did the Cards give up?

    The big piece from St Louis was Shelby Miller. Per Rosenthal had Tavares not passed this deal would not have gotten done

    ...yup...I think the Braves did well...Heyward is under contract for 2015 only.
