    This is written by someone who 1) doesn't watch and just looks at the numbers and 2) doesn't understand the numbers. Sample size matters, especially when looking at Will Barton.

    Blake has been very good at defense and keeping the ball moving, exactly what we want from him. He just hasn't scored much, which isn't his role anyway. Crabbe just got his first real extended stints at NBA games, and his PER may not have been great but most of that is because he had a couple less that stellar shooting nights, but I'd well known to be an excellent shooter. So give the man a break, he will be a better fit and hopefully a better player than brewer by the end of the season.

    If he's good enough to displace Crabbe as Nic's backup, they should be able to get more for him than Wright.

    If he's not good enough to garner better offers for him than that, then he likely wouldn't be able to help us much.

    I wouldn't. At least not without knowing dame's reaction. We know Dame has complained all his best friends are sent packing. Write is dames best friend on the Blazers now, or at least that was reported over the offseason. Write is part of the package to keep Dame happy and re-signing. Unless the trade for write includes getting back someone who is starter quality I pass.
