Getting back a top-level receiver should inject life into a team in playoff contention, yet the Cleveland Browns are doing everything they can to quell expectations with Josh Gordon. Gordon appeared briefly Monday in the Browns locker room as a full-time member of the team again. He can resume all football activities after completing a 10-game suspension for failing an NFL drug test. He can catch passes from Brian Hoyer now instead of a jugs machine, which he said he did "too many (times) to count" as he left the locker room. The way Hoyer sees it, the Browns are eyeing overall consistency more so than the return of one player -- even if that player racked up 1,646 receiving yards in 14 games last year.
