Did this guy really just pull the "playoffs are all that matter" card, only to backpedal and talk about how their wins during the regular season meant something?

Are you aware that Houston's strength of Schedule is the easiest in the entire NBA?!

You should reread my post. The fact that people want to pin the Rockets first road loss as some kind of proof of a failed season is funny to me. It's their first loss with Howard, and not even all of the Grizzlies fans think this win means anything knowing that the Rockets were on the end of a B2B and just having a bunched up schedule.

I said that regular season only means anything when it comes to seeding, and that the Rockets are 9-2. Period.

If regular season meant anything the Rockets would have won the championship last season seeing as how they have pretty much handled the Spurs all last season. This is using the regular season logic of overreacting to every game.

Are you aware Houston played Philly twice, which would knock down their SOS quite a bit? SOS? You mean when Houston blew out the Heat who then blew out the Mavs? Or the Spurs who lost to the Suns and the Cavs who lost to the Jazz and Nuggets? What is this, NCAA? We are talking about SOS in the first 10 games, that's kinda funny. I guess according to SOS, the Kings are one of the best teams in the NBA then.

Umm...yes? Do you know how SOS works? (It means literally nothing in the NBA) but it adds up all the wins and losses of every team, and then takes the average. You see, Philly is 0-10 and we played them twice, the Lakers are 1-9.

The rest of the teams the Rockets played have been either playoff teams or just average teams thus far. The 3 games against the Lakers, Philly, Philly is why they have the lowest SOS. That's math.

I doubt it, most Rocket fans aren't even really that concerned with the Blazers. They have 4 other playoff teams in their division (talk about a remaining SOS...as if it means something...) so I think Rocket fans are more concerned with those teams.

So basically you are saying that you should be 5-4? Yeah that does sound about right.

Houston is just trash. Leads the league in turnovers, can't defend, can't really do anything but shoot. Take that away and they are a lotto team

Clips got blown out at home by a Bulls team without Rose and Gasol. I can't believe we gave that game away to these chumps.

Lol, with that I'm done for the night. The team has been winning by defense, definitely not by their shooting. The numbers and stats would tell you this, you didn't even have to watch a game. Just look at the numbers.

How's that weak? If you think if the Rockets and Blazers would go exactly the same as the previous season then you don't follow sports much.

I already gave the Blazers props on beating the Rockets last post-season. I don't have to do it all this season either :P

The Blazers won't beat Houston with a buzzer beater this year.

This year they will grind down their will to live in the fourth and win by eight.

You're right, it wouldn't go exactly the same. You don't have Asik to put on Aldridge. It would go much worse.
