This guy is like 6'11 and he can play small foward, he's young and is very athletic and he posses a lot of skills that a small foward would have and he currently plays for the wizards right now, so it seems that they might have a replacment for jarred jefferies now and this guy might turn out to be better than jefferies in the future .. I really see this guy doing well in the future he's got talent and yeh what do you guys think of him, do you think he could become anything more than a 12th man that he is right now?future star ?
Killed Chris Taft's career by undercutting him and giving him back problems for years. That's all I care about for Blatche. He seems like could be a good player though.
He's played very sloppy in the pre-season and he hasn't play a lot of minutes during the season, so it's hard to tell his status right now. I would send him to D-League like last season, if he's not going to play a lot of minutes. Also, picking up Stevenson was Jeffries' replacement.
Future star? I don't think so. Future solid rotation player? Yes sir. I really liked Blatche coming out of high school, he has a lot of potential. He's 6'10''-6'11'', long, athletic, combo forward. I have heard his work ethic questioned, but we'll see. But if I had to predict, he'll be a solid player in the future.
In an article in Washington a week before the season started Eddie Jordan said that he was not interested in keeping him, he's lsot interest in him and he's dissapointed in him. I for one think that after his 48 point game and solid summer league performances he could amount to something however he needs to get a chance by being placed intot he rotation and this isn't going to happen in Washington this year. I think that he'll be happier off somewhere else.
Eddie Jordan will kill him and waste his talent. Face it wiz fans EJ doesn't know the first thing about developing youth. How all are good players were acquiredarenas-tradebutler-tradejamison-tradedaniels- signingsongalia?(maybe he will be good)- tradesee? None were developed here in dc all were acquired via trade.Ej's "experiments"(drafted or signed as rookies)Taylor 1.3 ppg no assistsblatche .6 ppg 2 rpghayes 5.5 ppg 1.2 apg 2 rpgLang no minutesMason(basically a rookie) 1 ppg .2 rpg .1 apgtrade idea:blatche, 1st rounder this year for suckier teams 1st round pick
Songaila was signed, James Lang is not a rookie and wasn't expected to get minutes. It doesn't matter, every Wiz fan knows Eddie Jordan sucks at coaching, his rotations suck and he continues to play Ruffin in important moments late in the game.
Andray Blatche is just a big softy. He's 6'11 and just hangs around the perimeter. He was drafted as a PF but everyone quickly realized that he was not made for it. He's big but not fast enough to take it past guys. He's got a lot of talent but judging by how soft he is I don't know if he will ever live up to it.
