...put his Newton, Mass. home up for sale. ...bought a bigger house in Atlanta. ...visits the Braves this weak.
...though I think he'd be a good fit for the Sox, I believe he'll return to SF...maybe he'll take the Sox offer back to the Giants and settle with them.
…or maybe he'll bring back the fried chicken deliveries and literally eat himself out of baseball in Boston? One can hope.
He doesn't have any other Georgia ties does he? He grew up in the NW, met his wife in South Carolina. Interesting...real estate doesn't lie, lol!
My coworker who's a Sox fan said he already had a home (I know it's implied with buying a BIGGER home in Atlanta, but I thought it needed to be mentioned). Hopefully he goes to Atlanta
...I believe he put his house in Mass. up for sale after he bought the house in Atlanta. But I'm guessing that he still needed a place to stay near Boston while he was still playing for the Sox. ...he put that home up for sale on Sept. 30th.
Per comments made on MLB today Lester has a house in Atlanta. Another thing mentioned was that the Cubs and Red Sox could win a salary war therefore Atlnata must clear some salary and the right guy to move would be non producing BJ Upton but who wants that overpaid load.
Old Buddy Nick Swisher Heard on MLB today that the Indians are trying to move Brohio himself for a more productive player in the same salary range. Damn that was supposed to be a new thread!
Re: Old Buddy Nick Swisher ...yeah, saw that too...good luck with Cleveland getting someone to take "Brohio" of their hands.
Re: Old Buddy Nick Swisher The players the T-shirt or the bobblehead? They couldn't give the latter two away...
Yeah Justin is the one that's only got 1 year left on his contract. BJ would be tough to move, he's got (I believe) 3-4 years left #1 & #2, he sucks.
First MLB words on Atlanta trades were Heyward and J. Upton thought being that if they moved one they could keep the other. Not sure if they have a kid in their system ready to fill in for J Up. BJ will be difficult to move, though not a Rays Fan I still remember Longoria wanting to take BJ Upton to the woodshed for not hustling. Wonder if he said anything to Cano for not hustling on a hitting play in game two of the Japan Series.
...BJ Upton is one of the most over-rated and over-paid players in the game. ...as far as Cano, f' him.
