http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=2676827<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ATLANTA -- On a day when the Atlanta Falcons' receiving corps again proved it collectively possesses some of the worst hands in the NFL, quarterback Michael Vick demonstrated to an angry Georgia Dome crowd that he still has all his fingers. One digit, in fact, too many.Jeered lustily as he headed to the locker room tunnel after the 31-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Falcons' fourth consecutive defeat, Vick reacted by lifting the middle finger of his left hand, and then his right hand, to the fans. The image was captured by network television cameras and replayed several times Sunday night. It very quickly became the preponderant subject on Atlanta talk radio Sunday evening.</div>Way to go Mike. I didn't like you before, and this just proves once again how stupid you really are.

Lol. I had never thought him to be that good, I would take two hand fulls of QBs over this guy any day. We see a little bit of Marcus Vick in him today.

One of the most overrated football players of our decade, I feel bad for Atlanta, they have high expectations every year and they just continually sell out. They had that one great season where they made it to the NFC Title game in 04', other than that....Vick has just been a dissapointment

He's still our savior according to the media.. [IMG] For the 3rd straight year, he was supposed to be adapted to the West Coast offense, and for the 3rd straight year he's sucked it up.I'd like to see Shaub and Shockley in there at QB.

I actually like when players flip the bird to crowds. It's funny and gives it right back to loud obnoxious fans. But I see this was towards his own team fans. [IMG] That makes it funnier to me, but not appropriate.

I think Jake Plummer did this 2 seasons ago after he was sucking..Terrile decision. Most fans dont let that kind of stuff slide. They'll be dogging on him for along time.

Smarts obviously don't run in the Vick family. It sucks that you guys paid Vick that ridiculous $130 million dollar deal just because he's extremely marketable...thats my opinion anyway...You don't flip off your home crowd... :no1:

I don't know about Vick, he is extremely talented and with that contract he has ($130 million I think) he needs to play a lot better. But also they are trying to take him out his confort zone by making him a QB and if he's going to be a pocket QB he needs someone other than Crumpler to be consistent. I'm not making excuses for him, but it's the truth. Also (still not making excuses) this has a lot to do with the coaching/play calling. When they started the year off 5-2 everything was just fine because of the fact that they ran the ball, a lot. 252 rushing yards vs Carolina - Only 22 passing attempts..win306 rushing yards vs Tampa Bay - Only 15 passing attempts..win117 rushing yards vs New Orleans - 33 passing attempts..loss262 rushing yards vs Arizona - Only 22 passing attempts..win223 rushing yards vs New York - 27 passing attempts..loss173 rushing yards vs Pittsburgh - 30 passing attempts..win143 rushing yards vs Cinncinati - 28 passing attempts..winSince that time...165 rushing yards vs Detroit - 32 passing attempts..loss149 rushing yards vs Cleveland - 40 passing attempts..loss104 rushing yards vs Baltimore - 27 passing attempts..loss281 rushing yards vs New Orleans - 24 passing attempts..lossFor the most part, when they run the ball effectly they win, when they don't they lose. They'll still make the playoffs winning 4 of their last 5 games, only loss may come to the Cowboys.

Are receivers arn't that bad, Jenkins, and Roddy White can both catch the ball..There not the best route runners in the world, but Vick needs to put the ball where our receivers can catch it. He's lost us 2 games this year, because he doesn't take care of the ball. In those 2 games, he hit the ball off of his knee when he scrambled and he fumbled it, giving the ball to the other team. He sucks, get him out. I'd rather see DJ Shockley or Matt Shaub in there, then we'd have a pocket passer. If Vick wants to run he can be a running back.

Trade him and put in Shaub. Best solution. He's not getting off the hook for that one. They need to see what Shaub can do before they lose him when his contract expires after this season.

Trade him and Warrick Dunn for LT and Philip Rivers [IMG] That should work financially.

They already made out winners by not getting Vick. [IMG]

Yeah, the Falcons are a team that were one of my favorites behind Indy a couple years ago, but they have problems and screw it up every year now... They should get Marcus Vick and have the brothers go at it.
