    Is there any chance Dwight gets suspended here? They're absolutely garbage without him. Even 5-10 games out could be huge.

    You can't even hit a dog in public without getting arrested but it's ok to hit a defenseless child? These beings are highly intelligent, have a better capacity to learn than we do, yet we hit them to get them to understand? Children are the only demographic on the planet that it's ok to hit....? BULLSHIT. Teach your children. Spankings only taught me to be afraid. They did not teach me respect.

    DWIGHT HOWARD ATL CHILD ABUSE CASE CLOSED... No Charges Filed

    Dwight Howard will NOT face criminal charges for allegedly beating his then 6-year-old son Braylon with a belt buckle ... TMZ Sports has learned.

    As we previously reported, the NBA star was being investigated by the Atlanta Police Department over an incident that went down in Georgia back in August 2014.

    We spoke with Howard's attorney David Oscar Markus who told us, "We are gratified that the Atlanta Police Department, after fully examining the frivolous allegations against Dwight Howard, has closed the case and decided not to proceed with charges."

    "Dwight Howard will continue to act in the best interest of his children and do whatever is necessary to protect their welfare."
