<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ESPN.com -Knicks forward Channing Frye will be out three to six weeks with a left ankle sprain, the team announced Saturday night.Frye suffered the injury in the second period of Saturday's106-95 home loss to the Bulls. He was attempting to block a shot by Chicago's P.J. Brown and landed on Brown's foot.</div>Source: ESPNFrye was one of the lone bright spots in the Knicks' dismal season last year, but I haven't really heard much about how he has been performing this season... but nonetheless this hurts New York.

But I most say it does open up the oppurtunity for David Lee, seeing that he will probably start now.So far Frye is only averaging 8 points and 5 rebounds.Lee is averaging 10 points and 9 rebounds of the bench, plus he is a beast.

well frye was coming around and this injury sucks. I hope he doesn't become the next marcus camby getting hurt every year. this gives david lee the opportunity to shine and I think it's going to be an adjustment for him since he is usually the spark off the bench. I always wanted him to play more anyway since he's one of the best rebounders in the league. we'll see how it pans out.
