I think most people had number 2 as well. Nolan was seen as a second rounder by most experts.

Faried made so much sense for our team at the time as we needed rebounding.

As an 18 year old I did want the Stache. But, isn't this thread called 'shit you got right'?

Einstein wasn't right 100% of the time, believe it or not.

I said folks would forget about renaming the arena the Moda Center and not boycott the place because it's not the Rose Garden anymore.

well, there you are then..would you boycott the arena like some folks said they would? I still say the roar as died down and the pitchforks and torches have been tucked away. No protest crowds with signs, nada..just Blazer basketball. Watching the homecrowd they seem thrilled, new court is popular, I think most folks think we've upgraded.Reflecting on the changeover, I don't think it's a big deal anymore.

I predicted someday people would carry little boxes around that they could talk to somebody with and see them at the same time...well, Dick Tracv had some input

heh, totally transparent aren't they? Everyone knows they'll bring it back from the bullshit fake scandal heap to use against Hilary and avoid talking about the real issues in front of us and their agenda... can't wait

a few highlights where I was pretty much a lone voice

-called the Sheed for SAR trade crap as it gave us redundant uncomplimentary talents with Zbo... wanted cap space or the Detroit offer instead
-was emphatic that Portland should have drafted Chris Paul instead of thinking Telfair was the man
-wanted LA over the Stache who I said I hoped we passed on twice
-wanted Batum with the 13th pick (was pretty stoked we traded for him at #25)

been wrong a few times too but I will probably be too busy to respond to that thread ;-)

I was in on Paul too. Wanted him over trading down for Webster. At that point, based on talent of team, you take BPA and he was clearly it.
