I am going to go with Kevin McHale. Has some of the best footwork in the history of the NBA, helped his team win games over and over again, he was also a very solid defender and a hard worker. He is the one that stands out the most to me.

John Havlicek with the Celts. The 6th man award was created because of him. The things he did with that team are the stuff of Celtic lore and the cause of much much much Laker misery*.*76ers misery too. (see game 7 of the 1965 ECF)

Michael Cooper...the guy could just flat out score, play good defense and run the court very well. He has a great basketball mind and was a big part of the Laker's championships in the late 80's.

Bill Walton was a 6th man off the bench as well for the Celtics back in 86. He's got to be on the list as well. The Celtics had a ton of players that played off the bench as a 6th man. The formentioned McHale and Havlicek, and Walton were all great in that role. The player that I'm going with is a 76er. He's not been mentioned yet. Billy Cunningham. Back in 67 and 68, he had great seasons. Back then they didnt keep up with starts, but listen to these stats. 1967Games playedMPG-26.8RPG-7.3APG-2.5PPG-18.51968Games played-74MPG-28.1RPG-7.6APG-2.5PPG-18.5The season prior to that, it was his rookie season and had a pretty good season as well, but not as great as the 2 above. Now is 67' the 76ers won the championship. This is who else was on that team. Wilt Chamberlain, Hal Greer, Chet Walker, Matt Guokas(who became a great coach with the Magic),Bill Melchionni(Lee Melchionni of Duke's uncle), and is considered the greatest 76er team ever. That's who my vote goes for.
