I would rather have them play on an actual team and get playing time then rot on the bench all year.
I agree. Louis Williams has been disappointing so far, and he is better off playing in the Developmental League instead of sitting on the bench the entire season. Sure, he gets some help in practices, but nothing is going to help you more than actually playing the game. Hopefully this helps both of them out in the long run.
I agree, very good move. While I feel Philly could use some of Jones' defense, there is no room for him to play behind Iverson, Iguodala, Korver, Green (who has been on a tear), and Carney. Williams has the potential to be a good player, he's quick, he can penetrate, he hustles. This was an excellent move by the Sixers, it will boost these players' confidence levels and it will allow them to improve their games by playing in actual games.
