Re: Big Ben: "I'm Not Sorry" <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Chicago Tribune -Ben Wallace has met with John Paxson about his recent insubordination, but does not regret wearing a headband."I knew that we weren't allowed to wear the headbands," Wallace said. "If you know the rules and break them, you expect to be punished. I can't try to put myself above the team or anybody else and wear a headband like I did. I'm man enough to take the punishment. But I'm not sorry."He does not regret signing with the Bulls, but is far from comfortable."There are times I'm used to doing things and having my teammates play off me," Wallace said. "We're not at that point yet. I can't be as aggressive as I want. Guys don't really know my tendencies. I can't put them in a bad situation by being overaggressive and they don't know what I'm doing. As we play more and get to know each other better, we can step outside the box."Anytime you don't win, you talk to your friends and it's a different conversation. It's just that we need to win games. I think if you win games, everything seems to be better. Your meal tastes better. Your trip to practice rides better. Your car rides smoother. Your music sounds better."</div>Source: Chicago TribuneAnyway, the bigger issue is this little tidbit I found in the ESPN article:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>But the Chicago Bulls and their biggest free-agent signing in years might have bigger problems than his choice of accessories: He told the Chicago Tribune on Tuesday that he has ligament damage and chipped bones in his right hand. That's a more serious diagnosis than the sprained index finger and wrist contusion the team disclosed following an MRI on Monday.</div>Ligament damage is never a good thing...
Re: Big Ben: "I'm Not Sorry" I've actually been reading into this issue a little bit today, and it appears there is a double standard with the whole headband thing. "Hey Ben, you can't wear a headband, but we're going to use a picture of you wearing a headband to promote the team, etc."Apparently Jim Paxson was the one who put the rule in place, not Skiles, and many believe it had something to do with Eddy Curry back when he was with Chicago.
Re: Big Ben: "I'm Not Sorry" Yeah I heard it had to do with something about Eddie robinson when we had him.. Idk though. To many tecs maybe.. throwing the headband ETC.... But Ben just wanted to see if he could get away with it... I doubt he trys it again being he knows he cant.

There is nothing wrong with that....if you feel like wearing a head band for a small fine or something, then all power to you. Why would he feel bad about doing it? He doesn't agree with the rule...I wouldnt feel bad either.

I thought that was a phase we grew out of when we were little kids(when we wouldn't listen to our parents when they set a rule).
