    I know he is not great but it is not like the Yankees are setting the world on fire with trades and free agents.

    Back in January of February of this year there were rumors that the Yankees were looking to trade Cervelli to the White Sox for Beckham. That got flushed when the Yankees acquired Roberts. Cashman likes to dumpster hunt, maybe they can give him an invite to Spring Training if nothing else pans out.
