We need to really play defense tonight. I'm also excited to see two bench players on the Nets in which I love: Antoine Wright and Marcus Williams. If we win this game, we remain 1st the division. Other news: Akon will be performing right after the game. So if you go, you get a little extra treat. CelticBalla's Prediction I don't see us winning this one. We will be fighting for 1st place in the division, but I still don't see us taking it. New Jersey is just a better team than us. We have beaten them, I mean it's possible, but I doubt it, especially after them losing a dissapointing one vs. Charlotte last night.
1st quarter thoughts..Delonte, Sebastian, Gomes all look very good right now..Green just made a smart play by not driving to the hoop as the quarter was about to end but dishing it out to Delonte to run the clock down which shows he looks like he's got better awareness out there..even if the stats dont show itand Perk isn't in foul trouble :drunk: the team's looking good right now..
Big Al played a hell of a second quarter. The Nets are tearing apart the Celtics zone of pick and rolls, but when they're not doing that the Celtics are playing decent defense. They're not turning the ball over much.Despite how close the score is, I think the Celtics played one of their better halves of the season.
I was frustrated in the third quarter, but damn, Hassan Adams is like a can of Red Bull!Exciting game!
^^ that's what you'll get when you play the celticsthey play great through 3 quarters but blow it at the 1st half of the 4th quarter..make it exciting..tighten the game up..and turn it into a thriller lolyou gotta love the Boston Celtics
Same thing with the Nets, man.... most games we have lost so far.... wll, I can almost copy your post why....Anyway, back to the game!
F*ck you Doc. F*ck you Wally. I'll post my analysis later after I cool the F*ck down.

QUOTE (playaofthegame @ Nov 29 2006, 09:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

lol yankshater the score is 87-76 in the 4th!not that close anymoreeven Scal's contributing
it was close at the half when I posted that thoughit was a shame they had to lose this one, they played great for most of the game, just chewed f*cking ***hole at the end, with one of the most pathetic final posessions I have seen in a long time. :no1:I'd also like to add, WHAT THE F*ck WAS WALLY THINKING, getting the ball with like 5 seconds left, you obviously need to shoot the three. not only does he not do that, but he floats inside the 3 point line. f*cking idiot.
you probably don't wanna see me post here now, but let's be honest: I was not Wally, but Pierce that threw it away, almost literally.I still wonder why he shot it when there were 15 seconds on the shot clock........ really, when you guys "cool off", I hope you realize it wasn't Wally who "lost" the game for you guys.

Then he lost it out of bounds. Pierce screwed up before hand, but that is the past. Wally still screwed that up big time.
First 3 quarters: EXCELLENT 4th quarter: terrible subs, terrible defense, terrible mistakes, terrible shot selection Doc Rivers: kill yourself Doc Rivers - Rondo doesn't play. - You don't put in a shooter (Delonte) at the end when we are down 3? WTF? - Rush a shot with 33 seconds left? - Play the starters 99% of the 3rd quarter, then 8 minutes in the 4th? I'm not even going to do my player-by-player analysis tonight. I don't have the patience. But Big Al, Sebastian, Pierce/Wally (for the most part), Gomes, and Gerald all played very well. Perk made some big plays as well.
I'm not sure if you saw it or not, CB, but in Celtics Notebook in the Globe today, it said that Delonte was the backup PG and Rondo wouldn't be seeing much time anymore, or something to that affect. F*ck Doc Rivers.

F*ck Doc Rivers.
Yeah, and I heard it was because Doc thinks Rondo doesn't have much to offer offensively. Are you kidding me, Doc? So he can't shoot, but he penetrates and he GETS OTHERS INVOLVED to make things happen. It wasn't smart to go out and get 2 PG's this summer, as much as we like them. It was a slap in the face to Delonte, and now we have a good rookie who will have a stunted growth as a player.
