I enjoyed the game even though we lost.

Heck of a game. Reminded me of the #Mavs game from two seasons ago in Dallas. #Bulls shouldve won that one too.

I have no idea what Kirk was thinking. He pretty much gave the game away. I don't know what Ellis was thinking before that - he took the uncontested 2pt layup when they were down 3.

He did. Also Butler missed a FT in regulation, but ya, Hinrich fouling Ellise killed us.

Up 3 you don't foul a guy going toward the basket. Ellis is clearly a threat to hit from several steps beyond the arc, but I think you have to let him take the crazy half court type shot at the buzzer and take what comes.

Thibs took the blame in the post game press conference. He's a player's coach.

Hinrich man's up and says it was all his fault. Thibs had nothing to do with it. "I know better than that.'' Hinrich said.

Dirk with the salt in the wounds - "In my 17 years is one of dumber fouls I've ever seen.'' Ouch. Try and get some sleep tonight, Kirk.

Now the challenge for Thibs, who's going to be ready tomorrow after Gasol plays 50 min,, Dunleavy 49, Butler 46 & Rose 38?

Hinrich has never played for a team that has won 50 games.

Totally fun game. Kirk's foul was dumb but if we're being completely honest, the Bulls had bunch of call go in their favor. They probably didn't deserve to be in the game with the way Monte Ellis was killing it.

My only problem with how it went down is the minutes. Mirotic was having a great night. Thibodeau had the ability to manage the minutes responsibly, especially after Noah twisted his ankle, but he just doesn't care about these things.

Can't agree on "totally" fun game for obvious reasons.

    Hinrich's foul was inexcusable.

In this particular back-to-back, the Mavs figured to be the tougher win. Thibodeau went all in and lost. Hope your boy got a good night's sleep and gets himself ready for tonight 'cause he could have his first "Thibs Special"...40+ minute game tonight.

Rose said: "We both had fight; they just got the best of us. Every time we went up we felt we had the game, but they played to the end."

    Sam Smith @SamSmithHoops

More Rose: "It's a learning experience, even the ones we lose. It will help make us sharp for the next time. We know we can do better."

    Jeff Mangurten @JeffGurt

For anybody saying Rose isn't making big impact...Jimmy Butler jump shot % this season:

    Rose on floor - 47%

    Rose off floor - 32%

    Space.
