Iverson deserves it more than like every single Heat player did last season barring maybe Wade, Zo and maybe shaq.

Alot of the players on that team contributed to them winning the chamionship so I dont understand how somebody deserves it more when they have had their chances, yet they havent capitalized. You can say all you want about Iverson not having the talent on his team to win it all, but that is irrelevant in my opinion. The only players that "deserve" to win a ring are the ones that win them. I want Allen to win one because he was worked very hard over his career, but he needs to earn it. Once he can lead his team in the playoffs, to the finals and then win in the finals, THEN and only then will he deserve that ring. Of course he could win one at the end of his career on another team and in my opinion, he would deserve it, but knowing AI, he wouldnt want to win a championship being a role player or even a 2nd option.

Since when do players earn titles? Teams earn titles. No matter what any single player has been through...such as AI. Every single team that has won a title earned it and deserved it. For every AI, theres a million Brian Shaw's who are just along for the ride and barely contribute. If your going to talk about players who deserve a title if its possible, what about KG? He may well go down as the most underated player in basketball history by the time his career is over. If KG were to win 3 titles by the end of his career, a few people might talk about him as the greatest player of all time. Instead, he's going to keep putting up <u>insane</u> numbers on mediocre teams, at best.

In both the East Semi's and ECF, they endured through two seven-game series's which could've definitely gone another way. How am I being biased towards any other great player that gives everything to the team and deserves to win a ring? I decided to make this thread about A.I. because I feel that he deserves the opprotunity to win another ring, just as how he was deserving of another chance to win a gold medal. I'm not griping over A.I. b/c this wasn't meant to be a pity party for him. I'm just saying that he and PHI need to say goodbye to each other. Yes it could have gone either way, just like EVERY single game. What is your point? You basically said AI was in a bad situation for 11 years straight. Making the Finals and playoffs is not being in a bad situation. No matter how you put it. Your being biased because your only talking about AI. You say he deserves a title over other players in the league who you can basically say have been in a similar situation. That's bias.
