I think that by the end of the season or after the season is over Morris Peterson will not be a Toronto Raptor. With the emergence of Joey Graham since Mo Pete's injury I think he'll take is place and deserves it aswell. I don't see Morris Peterson a Bryan Colangelo type of player so I think he might trade him. I personnaly wouldn't mind this happening because we would save money or we can get a good player in return. A good trade would be Morris Peterson and a 2007 first round pick for Pau Gasol lol. Get the 3 spaniards playing together. What do you guys think?

I don't see Memphis taking that deal on, They are already stockpiled at the guard spot. If they let Pau Gasol go they would need to get a big man in return.

I know man I was just dreaming about this deal coming true lol. How sick would it be to see Pau Gason playing the 5, Chris Bosh playing the 4 and Andrea Bargnani playing the 3? Anyways back on topic. Do you think Morris Peterson will be a Raptor for long or they'll stick with him?

No that trade ever goes down. That is way under Pau's value. Pau is a team leader/ subpar superstar while Mo-Pete is a very good role player. Also, that give the Raptors Bosh, Gasol, and Bargnani all trying to play the 4 and 5 spots. Not enough minutes for them plus the backups. Only way it'd work, is if Bargnani played the 3, which I'm not positive he could handle that over an 82game schedule. I personally think Peterson is a great role player and if he was on the block, he would be a hot comodity. Could see a lot of teams intersted in him. My only question is why you would trade a player this loyal away? :dunno:

Guys if you read my message properly I never said this trade would happen. I was just bringing it up. Morris Peterson is a loyal player but this is a businees and if you can get a good player in return that will help your team better then morris peterson can then Colangelo will pull the trigger.

I know you just suggested it, but that trade would never go down. But if it did, you'd like Bargnani playing the 3? I say hell no to that, he could never be an NBA SF. He is too slow and he would get absolutely murdered defensively. I mean killed. Just because he can shoot the ball doesn't mean he can be a 3. He's too big, slow, isn't as good a ballhandler, 3's would blow right by him with ease. Bargnani has to be a 4/5 guy, and even then - he's too soft to play the 5. He has to be a rich man's Raef LaFrentz.

I think if that deal went down, Memphis' GM would be thought of that he would possibly be secretly working for us. Raptors have shown no interest in Gasol and despite the rumors, Memphis is not looking to trade him. (Like they would anyway, they don't need another guard and the individual abilities of the players are very different.)
