Wow. I like Mike, but it seems they could have aimed higher to me. OSU has a chance to make a big splash hire now like the rest of the PAC 12 has over the last couple seasons. So thankful it wasn't Scott Frost. I assume the fans are wondering why it wasn't Frost as well

I don't think that was a good hire for them.

Nebraska's last coach was fired after going 9-3?

So what are the expectations going to be for Riley?

Riley has been a fine coach. But Dammit I'm excited to move on. Riley couldn't get us over the hump and seems to have lost the team. No more hanging around until 2021!

As an osu fan, I agree. the program got a little stale. I'm excited for change, but I'm a little pessimistic, this is gonna be a big change

Seems like a lateral move at best. Funny if OSU went after Bo Pelini

So they just got out of having to pay that contract for the next 7 or so years that they would have had to have paid if they fired him, right? They should go for a Lame Kiffin or something with that extra money to spend, get a name someone has heard of (actually probably not him).

Crazy! I didnt see this one coming! I'm torn. I love Riley, but I think its time for some new blood, a younger coach with a new modern/faster paced offense.

Depends on the coach replacement. I am excited for the Oregon State football program moving on from the Riley era.

    Well, that was crazy random.

The guy who I thought they should go after is gonna be in Florida now. I wonder who they bring in? Maybe they will just promote Mark Banker lol jk

Honestly, if I were the Beavs I'd give Beau Baldwin a look.

Beavers will hire Erickson back and Wookee will argue that he's the most ethical coach in college football.
