<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley says they are not trading Pau Gasol, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal</div>headline from hoopshypenot really a big story but there were some rumors going around that the Celtics genius GM Danny Ainge was offering our "anything and everything" for Pau Gasol. Guess he's sticking with the Grizz.
I knew we wouldnt trade Gasol, hes a very underrated player and really ranks high in the league with the stuff he does. Hes hell of a lot more valuable than people think.
I really couldn't see Memphis trading Gasol... they are struggling right now, but that is because Gasol is recovering from a broken foot. With him in the line-up they will surely be a lot better.Even if Memphis did want to trade him for whatever reason, they would not be able to do it because of the pending team sale. The new owner would have to approve the trade, and in order for that to happen the sale would need to be completed before Gasol is traded.

He never said that, he said before he even got hurt that if memphis didnt make changes(which we did) then he would consider leaving. He never said anyhting about them playing good when he was out, he not a idiot, he knew we would suck without him. Hes not giving the griz a test or anything.
