Okay these threads are becoming fun! It's nice to see the fan participation and how it pans out. There are 5 games that either effect our standings or give us even more cushion against the teams below. Make sure to cast your vote because it will close before the games begin tomorrow!

1.) Golden State Warriors @ Chicago:
Golden State is on a tear right now. It looks like there ain't a team on the planet that can beat them. Chicago has been having a really tough time against WC teams. But they still have a great coach, at home, healthy team and top 3 defense. Will the defense of Chicago be enough to extinguish the hot shooting of the Warriors? Root for Chicago!

2.) Phoenix Suns @ Houston Rockets:
Phoenix kicked the crap out of Dallas while Houston slipped by the hair of their chinny chin chin in Minny. I believe Houston has a few injuries to key players and tired legs. This game definitely needs the "Jinxspeed" to reverse the jinx on the COMPLETE JINX THREAD he made a month ago or these Rockets may never lose! Root for Phoenix!

    3.) Minny T-Pups @ San Antonio Spurs:
Mine got embarrassed "being that team", then played inspired ball against the Rockets. Only problem... Rockets aren't the Spurs and only if Pop decides to rest his players, this has blow out written all over it! But still... It would be nice to gain some ground on the Spurs. Root for the T-Pups!

4.) Orlando Magic @ Sacramento Kings:
While I am writing this, Sac Kings were up 56-45 at the half. Most likely they will win, but the NBA is a game of runs... Don't count the pacers out. So here I am, posting about the next game so bare with me please. The Kings are a Western Conference team, but they aren't a team I worry too much in passing us in the standings. In fact, I really like their team. They remind me so much of our Blazers a few years ago. Also, with a win they will gain ground on the Thunder for making it as one of the last seeds. Root for the KINGS!

5.) New Orleans Pelicans @ Loss Angeloss Clippers:
I don't think there is a team in the NBA I hate more than the Clips this season, except for the Lakers and Rockets. They reek of whining and flops. On the flip side, I absolutely love the Pelicans! AD is definitely the best big man in the game right now, and if he had a better supporting cast, they would definitely be fighting for top spots in the West. What the Pelicans lack is consistency. They need to find their inner "Rock Star" and use it against the Floppers. Root for the Pelicans!

So there you have it... Cast your vote (multiple choice if you wish). Enjoy!

Just heard that the Bulls are 6-1 when they have their regular starting line up. Should be a good game with the Warriors

The Warriors strike so quick. Down 4-0 they are up 13-6 in like 2 minutes

I think Draymon Green being able to shoot from 3 and run floor helps the Warriors more than what David Lee brings. It will be interesting to see what happens when Lee comes back next week.

Warriors look real. I think I put them at 3 in the west... Should have put them higher.

As long as they stay healthy. Hasn't been the case for their team in previous seasons.

They are definitely for real right now though

They are a better team without David Lee. I can almost guarantee that

They might run better with draymond starting but you can't tell me that returning an all star PF off the bench is a negative asset.

Then convince me that it is addition by subtraction with him being injured.

Just make sure you don't compare last season, or the start of this season, or anything except for the one game where David Lee came off the bench for limited minutes. That game is your only evidence.

How is it silly? Your claim is that they are a better team without David Lee. But there has only been one game to showcase what kind of team they are with David Lee. I'm not saying you are incorrect, I'm just saying your position cannot be substantiated without using something from that one game which proves they are better off when he is not playing. The logical expectation is that they will be a better team with a healthy David Lee regardless of the role he plays, that doesn't mean it will happen, that just means it's probability is higher.

The injuries I talk about are Bogut and curry. Lee and Thompson they can still win without obviously
