Loved Gerald, but no. Not seeing where he gets minutes.

Yeah, don't be surprised if a team that utilizes 3 point shooting goes after a guy who can't shoot 3's to save his life, is averaging .6 points per game, hasn't had a decent season since he left Portland and is being paid 10 million this year...because reasons.

Oh I know why, he was seen laughing with LaMarcus.

    No thanks.

I can see him as a possible veteran target next summer for a small deal to replace someone like Wright. There's no way he's traded unless it's part of a Rondo package to make numbers work in a trade with another team.

Funny. After just about every game LaMarcus is seen talking and joking with a player from the other team. Is this going to go on all season?

Oh good my wife can break out here "Gerald Wallace" jersey!

No really, there is absolutely no reason to even think about bringing him back. I absolutely was a fan of Wallace, but he ain't the same Gerald Wallace.

Steve Novak would be good for the Blazers.

The only good thing Wallace ever did for us was get us Lillard. For that I'm thankful. Otherwise, screw Gerald Wallace - a washed-up never-was-been.

The most ridiculous part of that, IMO, is that Wallace still has one year at over 10 million left on his contract. If Boston gives an unprotected 1st and Smart? Sure, I'll go ahead and take on Wallace's awful deal for next season. But nothing about his contract is attractive until at the very least next offseason when he's an expiring. And even then, not to us. Awful

Only possible explanation! Nobody's giving up pure expirings for Wallace. But if we got a pick included, well, last time we got a pick in a wallace deal it worked out pretty well. :)

I'd trade Wright, Robinson and CJ for Wallace, Young and the Clippers pick the celtics own

Are we? Wright and Robinson rarely play and are expiring, basically we are getting Wallace, another young guard and a pick for CJ (who may be replaced by Crabbe).

I love me some Crabbe, but he doesn't have the ability to create his own shot. I do not want Crabbe to replace CJ! I want Crabbe to be a good rotational role player. Something he does very well so far.

The pick is tempting, but we are beyond that now. As MM said in another thread... "If you can win now, then why the hell would you develop young players?!"

The team we have assembled has a 5-6 year win now window. Adding Wallace doesn't help...

What I'm thinking is Wallace helps defensively in the playoffs when it matters. We can trust him to lay it all on the line for us. I don't think CJ will be apart of the playoff rotation even. The pick added to our pick could be packaged at draft time too.

See I am gonna have to disagree on all fronts.

1.) Wallace doesn't have the athleticism like he did in year's past. His defense relied on that athleticism.

2.) what you get now is an old, can't shoot if his life depended on it, anti-defensive shell of a great player

3.) I have no doubt CJ will be part of the playoff rotation.

I may be wrong but I think Wallace would be motivated to play for a REAL contender again. It's hard to go all out for the lottery bound Nets and Celtics.

CJ is a tough for me, I like him but in the playoffs the rotation should be, Lillard, Wes, Batum, LA, RoLo, Blake, Crabbe, Freeland and Kaman if they started today.
