Not necessarily all those guys, but a package including a two or three. Of course, New York could add someone to the deal.
Let me tell you something about J. R. Smith: He is like the mutant offspring of a threesome involving Darius Miles, Jamal Chuckford, and Raymond Felton.
Alrighty then. I didn't realize he was so disliked. I always thought he was a good sixth man. He used to kill us when he was in Denver.
No question he has talent. I'm just not sure he's a good fit attitude/personality wise. But then again, I've only seen him on TV. If Olshey actually signed him, I would assume he'd done his homework regarding any perceived personality problems, and I'd roll with it.
CJ? You're crazy. His value is at an all-time low and I seriously think Neil could get him for Robinson and Wright. When he's focused he's every bit as good as Jamal Crawford.
Blake, Kaman, CJ and Crabb would all be off the table for a JR trade, but if we could nab him for the leftover pieces, I think it would be worth the risk. But bearly. I almost added Meyers to that list. Only way it's worth it is if what's given up is so low that cutting JR would be an option right off the bat if he cuckolded Paul Allen or sexted with Steve Blake's sons.
He will probably be good next season, in his contract year. He just seems like a really self involved egomaniac.
