Wallace Injury Worse Than Announced? 29th November, 2006 - 2:24 am Newsday - Ben Wallace played last night against the Knicks despite what he identified to the Chicago Tribune as ligament damage and a chipped bone in his right hand, which he suffered Saturday. That is more serious than the sprained right index finger and wrist contusion the team announced Monday.
Wallace has had something similar to this - he had something with his foot and he got surgery on it in the summer. He played with it through the season tho and it didn't seem to bother him thatmuch. Ithink he'll be fine here.
