I don't think that qualifies as a "Blockbuster Deal". Nor, is Teletovic one of the huge contracts BRK are trying to unload. He's one of the few Nets, perhaps the ONLY one, worthy of his contract.

Right on cue, but really????? This is quite possibly your weakest Aldridge bash so far.

When healthy, Brook Lopez, averages 16.1 ppg and 6.2 rpg with a PER = 17.7. Aldridge, who IS healthy, averages 22.3ppg, 9.9 rpg on PER = 22.5.

I can only assume you weren't serious and were actually having a good laugh at your own expense. I know I did.

Dude, it's too late. The Blazers have already fucked up too much to start tanking now. Getting rid of LMA won't help us get a top draft pick. I know, I'm disappointed too. I love having a lottery pick by the Blazers have won too many games to make that pick worth a shit.

Wow, this is wrong on so many levels. First, you're only looking at the stats from this season, 2nd, you're looking at totals, not considering the fact that they play a different number of minutes. 3rd, you're totally ignoring my central argument, which is FG%. LA's has been going down every year for the last 3 years, and now he's efficiency is one of the worst in the league.

Brooks last healthy year was 12-13 and per 36 he averaged 23,8/2.5, and shot 52% from the field. LA is down to 45%, and scoring a bunch of points with that low of a % isn't a sign that you're good, it's a sign that you're hurting your team.

So you like to deal in logic. Is it logical to trade a guy in his prime for a guy who hasn't been healthy for 3 years?

Yep. Seems logical. We'll just replace lma's stats while we have an injury prone guy on the bench.

    Logical. Completely.

Aldridge current VORP = 2.1. Brook Lopez VORP in 2012-13 = 1.6. That's the only season in the last 4 he's played more than 17 games. So, his real VORP = 0.0, since the RP would be the one playing most of the time.

But, even though I don't believe it, if I agree to stipulate that Lopez is worth a max contract when healthy, what's he worth when not healthy, which is most of the time?

As much as I hate him, I think he could be a missing piece.

Yeah, but it's not too much of a worry because it will just be a couple games until Brook gets injured and Robin would have to start again anyway.

He's currently on Minny's injury report for another 3 to 5 weeks recuperating from his right wrist surgery.

    Quote me...

Adding Mirza Teletovic or Gerald Green to our bench would be the difference that would vault this team into real contenders.

The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to acquire Andrei Kirilenko from the Brooklyn Nets.

The 76ers will also acquire a 2020 second round pick, along with the right to swap 2018 second rounders and cash while sending Brandon Davies to the Nets.

Kirilenko has not been in Lionel Hollins' rotation this season.
