The first trailer made it look a hell of a lot better. I was also under the impression it was going to be a movie that takes place after the original Mad Max movies but that doesn't seem like the case from that trailer.

You probably saw the Comic Con first look at Mad Max: Fury Road.

It looks like a fun movie to turn your brain off and enjoy the ride like Pacific Rim, the new Terminator movie just looks awful all the way around.

Yep, it's all about enjoying the ride.

Which action movies do you tend to watch, santeesioux?

Another film about the libertarian utopia! I enjoyed the original immensely.

that trailer is much better. The first one didn't pique my interest (HCP, "piqued" is like saying something has really gotten you interested), but this one sure did.

Still won't see it, but at least it doesn't look like Waterworld part 2...cause you see, in Waterworld, there's tons of water, and this one...oh shut up, my point was that it looked like a bad movie.

Hey man, don't knock Waterworld. I've been to the hallowed "Dry Land" ending location. (Waipio Valley, HI. Big Island)

I mean, Costner had vagina ears. What's not to like?

I'd rather watch Tupac and Dr. Dre in California Love on a loop over this. Same visuals, better music.

Action comedies are pretty good. I just watched Guardians of the Galaxy and 22 Jump Street and enjoyed them both. Big dumb monster movies like Godzilla are also watchable.
