Our 3 point shooting has been just been insanely inconsistent in the last 10 games.

    1.) vs Boston - 36.8%
    2.) vs Philly - 25.9%
    3.) vs. Charlotte - 44.5% (good)
    4.) vs. Memphis - 28.6%
    5.) vs. Tpups - 36.4% (good)
    6.) vs. Denver - 22.7%
    7.) vs. Indiana - 19%
    8.) vs. Knicks - 35.7%
    9.) vs. Detroit - 42.9%
    10.) vs. Minny - 28.6%

It seems like our team aren't knocking them down like they've had in the earlier games. Maybe it's just Batum and his struggles that is causing the most concern. I just don't know. Whatever the case, I'm just not as comfortable with this team and their 3 like I have been.

Wes has taken a few bumps, bangs, and tweaks to his legs and ankles over the last few games, I think that is a big factor...

I jinxed us and to reverse it, I will refrain from posting in tonight's game thread.

Batum is playing like crap. If he can rediscover his shot we will be fine.

I've noticed we aren't making that extra pass in rhythm. I think a lot have been a timing thing

Damian's sprained fingers on his shooting hand and CJ's absence aren't helping with the overall 3-pt shooting percentage. I also wonder if the extra energy being spent on defense this year is impacting the shooting %. Still, I think it will come around. Hopefully, starting tonight.

Yeah, in the game thread we talked a bit about that. LMA was finding an open guy, but it was 2 passes earlier than I think they were used to it. Not saying it's his fault, just that, like you said, it didn't look in rhythm.

    This.

    And this.

Aaaaaand, when your offense relies on jump shots you're going to go through slumps. That's one reason why I don't think I'll ever believe this team, as constructed, will be a contender. There's no such thing as consistent jump shooting...unless it's consistently bad jump shooting.

We brick a lot of shots in the paint and if the 3 isn't dropping, we don't get to the freethrow line enough to off set it. Tough to win like that. I think when we start to turn the ball over, there's less ball movement and it snowballs. Kaman and Rolo missed a bunch of chip shots in the paint. This is when coaches earn their paychecks.
