Be reasonable here, don't say that someone like Phoenix is the destination of Greg Oden.Greg Oden: MemphisKevin Durant: SeattleJoakim Noah: New YorkJosh McRoberts: PhiladelphiaMarcus Williams: AtlantaJulian Wright: PortlandAl Horford: WashingtonAaron Gray: BostonJust Atlanta's luck: No point guards...Add More!
Well PHX has ATL's pick this year(top 3 prospect) so they could get someone good.Memphis won't get a low pick. Once Pau gets back they'll win and get somewhat out of the cellar.Too bad, now there will be 2 Marcus Williams in the NBA... o.o
No way would Atlanta draft another SG/SF. Depending on where they are they would be better off drafting another big or Dominic James.

Roy Hibbert?</div> I think Hasheem Thabeet will be better than Roy Hibbert, I think Roy will be okay but not a top 10 pick. Thabeet's been okay so far, it will be interesting to see how he develops as the season goes on. I don't think PG is as big of a need for Atlanta as people think. They just have a wierd group of players.
Speedy Claxton and Tyronne Lue are good temporary point guard options, but I agree it's not as big of a problem as getting a big man is.I don't know who Hasheem Thabeet is. Can you describe him and give a comparision to me?

1. Greg Oden - C, Ohio State2. Kevin Durant - F, Texas3. Joakim Noah - F, Florida 4. Brandan Wright - F, North Carolina5. Thaddeus Young - F, Georgia Tech6. Chase Budinger - F, Arizona7. Hasheem Thabeet - C, Connecticut 8. Marcus Williams - G, Arizona9. Julian Wright - F, Kansas10. Yi Jianlian - C, ChinaI won't bother with the teams or their needs until at least the ASBArizona with 2 lottery picks :worthy:
Another guy that I would like to mention is Darrel Arthur out of Kansas. He is a freshman and he is averaging 16 and 7. He was the #11 prospect in the country last year out of Dallas South Oak Cliff and he is an amazing talent. He is VERY similar to Chris Bosh and its funny becasue they are both out of Dallas. He is 6 11 or 6 10 and very lengthy. He is very athletic, he can shoot very well from the outside for his size, and he is a good shot blocker as well. I think that if he went in the draft right now, he would possibly go lottery. Just my opinion though....
I Just see Oden in a celtics uniform for somereason lolBut it's likley that he will go to a place like memphis which would turn out good.

There is no way Durant falls past the 5th pick and I think Milwaukee will be out of that range.
We need a swingman. Guys I want that are in range:Chase BudingerMarcus WilliamsThaddeus YoungIm intrigued with Thaddeus Young. Obviously he has a ton of potential, but nbadraft.net lists him as low as 11th. If he's still there, I would go with this incredible talent.Joey Graham just isnt going to get the job done for us at SF in the future..He's better off the bench for us.

This is a thread about where these kids could somewhat realistically fit. Milwaukee is perfect for Durant (a front line of Bogut, CV, and Durant would be incredible). It doesn't matter though, it's the end of the first month of the NBA season. We don't know where abouts any teams will pick and we don't know which of these guys are even coming out this year. Most of the top prospects are freshman.

He's still as talented as everyone thought, he's just been playing passively. Chase Budinger would look nice in a Raptors uniform and you'd love him CB. Shoots the lights out and he's really aggressive.
nbadraft.net isn't the most reliable source on projecting where a player will go 6 months before the draft. They change it up frequently just to increase site traffic. However, the articles and player profiles they have are pretty good.

I think its ridiculous that Julian Wright is that far up there when he isnt even playing the best on his team right now. Darrel Arthur is averaging 4 more points and 4 more rebounds per game than him, and he is a true freshman. I dont understand why he isnt up there in the recruiting...

He's 6'8" and strong, he's a great passer, good rebounder, great athlete, can bang in the post and isn't afraid of contact, can score inside and can drive the lane. He's such a damn good all around guy. Darrell Arthur is currently 5th in the 2008 mock.
