This is the suit. You can read the whole thing.

A few things I didn't know about regarding Rampage:

Round 5 figurines approached him about making a doll/action figure in his likeness. He brought the idea up with the UFC for their approval. They denied his request then signed their own deal with Round 5. Same thing with Page and Reebok. They told him no then signed their own deal.

Obviously with Jon Fitch being involved the likeness rights for video games, etc. is an issue.

When the AKA guys were trying to negotiate with the UFC prior to the release of the first video game on Xbox they didn't want to sign over their rights in perpetuity which is what the UFC was forcing everyone to do. By forcing I mean offering them an ultimatum--sign or be fired. Fitch expressed concern that if he died memorial items with his likeness could continue to be sold by the UFC who wouldn't pass on the money to his beneficiaries. They tried to negotiate 5- or 10-year deals with the UFC. The UFC fired them instead and DFW lambasted them to the media.

DFW has recently cited "click-bait journalists" as the reason he has retreated from the public eye, not participating in things like weigh-ins, press conferences, and media scrums. With the lawsuit pending the more likely reason might be that he's been muzzled.

I'm not a legal expert by any means but the suit will attempt to prove that the UFC, by coercing sponsors, advertisers, venues, and athletes/camps, stifled the competition. I have doubts that they will be able to demonstrate this effectively.

The smaller, more provable issues, will probably get nowhere if the main issues aren't locked down.

For the record I'm not Michael Moore in Team America (tear it down! tear it all down!). I want the UFC to stick around; more so I want what's best for the fighters.

Dana White's Twitter feed has been whitewashed, apparently.

Zuffa (the UFC) is reportedly attempting to have the anti-trust suit(s) moved to Nevada (from California).
