I'm watching the game and wow what a show kobe has put on so far. 30 points in the third quarter 52 for the game. unbelievable. I would say he's feeling pretty good after that knee surgery. the lakers are up 22 going into the fourth so I don't think kobe will be able to go for his own record of 81. I think he would break it if he plays out the fourth. he can't miss a shot. kobe is spectacular. :worthy: :worthy:
yeah I think I saw that he was 9/9 from the field and 10/10 from the line in that 3rd quarter, that is insane, and he was only 3 points off the nba record for points in a quarter!!
I thought Kobe should of been the MVP last year, but they gave it to Nash, but I think if he leads the Lakers to more wins this year and even if they just make the playoffs he should win the MVP. Without kobe the lakers would be a 15-20 win team, Kobe is the best player in the NBA.

As much as I would love to see Nash win it a 3rd straight year in a row... Kobe deserves it much more... This man is f*cking phenomenal... And I wouldn't be surprised if he surpassed his 81 point game from last year, this year...
Great thing about this is he didn't score one point in the 4th quarter showing he isn't playing for stats. He is playing for a ring and a ring only. Also, the entire team shot 60%.
Wow....19/26 FG? He's getting an insane number of points, but with incredible efficiency. He gets my vote for MVP too.
