Yep, I may be a bit slow in these elder years, and I know you mentioned the MLBPA. For some reason tho' the word MLBPA, just didn't set in til now, this eve. By that one infamous WORD-UNION....that my friend says it all.....! No lengthy debate necessary hereon out, I get it, it just takes old tube brains like mine, to reboot using the latest tech....My Tubes always take a long time to heat up, enough to produce sound or sight....
Alright my source just told me Mets are trading for Tulo. So we will see if that happens. Also said Yankees will be making a huge move but not sure when. Just reporting rumors.
I am right there with you. I am skeptical about this but if this trade happens then I will really believe a big Yankee trade or signing will happen soon.
...and oh, if your source is right about the Yanx, I'll personally talk to Santa and make him promise to be good to you this Christmas.
Thanks 59. Kind of been an up and down year for me so I could use a little extra at Christmas. Going on vacation tomorrow but will try and check in everyday especially if something happens Yankee wise.
I would be surprised if/when the Mets acquire Tulo and the deal does NOT have Colorado picking up a large portion of his salary depending on the quality of players they receive from the Mets - -and the Mets do have very good "quality" AND quantity to offer Colorado in the name of PITCHING. If I were Colorado, I would jump at the chance to unload Tulo in exchange for one or two highly regarded, ready for MLB young pitchers.
______________________________ Hold on... do these rumors of a "something big" concern Tulo to the Yanks? lmao Are the Yankees crazy? No, wait - if Colorado wants to pay most of his salary in exchange for a couple of "B" prospects - then okay, maybe.
...lol...enjoy the snow. ...hell, it's 50 degrees down here, and we don't even handle that kind of temperature very well.
Trade has happened. What do we all think? http://yanksgoyard.com/2014/12/19/yankees-deal-prado-phelps-miami-eovaldi-jones/
...I was just about to post this...not sure what i think at the moment...I liked Prado. ...maybe the other shoe has yet to drop.
Prado (2nd base, 3rd base & OF) is 31 & due 22M over the next 2 seasons. On a full year he's projected at 13/70/290 Jones (RF & 1st base) is 33 & due 5M in 2015. On a full season he's projected at 20/75/253 For the money you have to go with the lefty Garrett Jones though I do hate losing Prado who IMO was the type of player the Yankees needed. The Nathan Eovaldi I just don't get. This kid just looks bad. Granted he's only 24 but in 4 seasons he's 15-35 with a career ERA over 4 but we'll see.
...^^^ they may use him out of the pen...helluva FB and breaking ball. ...I'll reserve judgment on this till it all shakes out.
