Im currently doing this, and its pretty good, I did it for 2 weeks previously and it increased my vertical like 3 inches (kinda cool for 2 weeks) it helps and im starting it again, and going for the full 15.Whos done it here before?

I tired using the Air Alert III off of the web. I loved it so much I bought the actual program (which is pretty sweet). I had to stop doing it, I didn't get far, but anyways I had to stop because I didn't have time. But I am starting it up again very soon, I am thinking this Monday.I only have a 28 inch vertical right now, it raised mine to 30 before I had to stop. But I bet my vertical has dropped back down the 28 by now.

Almost unbelievable.Anyways, back on topic. I did it for about 5+ weeks, couldn't keep it up. But I promised myself to start again starting on my birthday for the full 15.

I would love to try this but I hear it really messes up your knees.For every ONE person who had good gains, you can find 2 who stopped from shin splints, jumpers knee, chronic headaches, and who didn't gain anything.
I've never trusted this stuff...My friend did it but I didn't feel it would be good for my legs. Just be happy with your normal verticle.

If your knees start hurting real bad, then stop. I have a good feeling more than half the people that were having knee problems, have had knee problems in the past or weren't following the instructions right (as in how to do the drill, keeping in shape, eating right, stretching right, resting right, there are many things they could have not done to cause it). If you follow it exactly, you shouldn't have any problems.The truth of the matter is, your knees and legs are going to be sore. I have had days where it really hurts to walk up the stairs at my school and the whole day I am dreading coming home and doing it. But that doesn't have to do with knee problems. I just have to force myself to follow through no matter how much I don't want to. By working out, you are going to hurt, that is how you know you are getting stronger.

By working out, you are going to hurt, that is how you know you are getting stronger.</div> Its because half the people do this for 15 weeks and dont jump in between the workouts/work their legs, thats what keeps your knees healthy, and you cant develop any muscle memory, and thats why some dont get results, plus stretching extensively works to, so your knee is felxible, my gym teacher made us stretch stuff ive never stretched before.
This thing killed me. I was doing well, was like on week 9 and had gained 6 inches, but then my knees strated hurting and now I have to get surgery. Im not teh only one whos this happened to, my friend had teh same results

It's actually a really good workout program. The key thing is though, to do it right. Make sure you massage and have those muscles properly stretched before you do anything too intense.And yes, the workouts are supposed to hurt like hell. But if you feel any unnatural pain or the workout is too hard, either stop altogether, rest for a week, or make the workouts less intense.

^ Agreed. I have been getting those too, but I haven't been eating much/right. So, my dad said that was why. Then I stopped doing it. Starting eating right, and started over, I don't have them any more, so who knows.

What exactly is it? I wanna increase my vertical... mines is only like... 16 inches? around that... but I have hang time so its all good.. wish I could get more tho..
I don't see the difference between vert and hangtime... can't you have both or none at all?And anything that works out your legs will improve you vertical. Air Alert is good because it focuses on the muscles used for jumping and works them.There's a schedule somewhere on the net but I can't remember where it is. Just search air alert in images or something.
