As I said earlier. Having a post up player to slow the game down creates better player movement, ability to rebound and slowing the other team down.

So I absolutely stand by my statement. Only a fool would think otherwise. I know you ain't a fool

Two things taht LA would contribute right now:

    Rim protection.

    Defensive rebounding.

We are sorely missing Rolo and LA right now on the defensive boards.

Well, they'd have more points on offense, the teams defense would be better, and the offense would be spread out a lot more.

Take Harden off the Rockets, and their offense changes drastically.

your just viewing LA as what he his shooting % is. LA does so much more that can't be shown in stats, just him being on the court opens up our offense and his D, while not great, has been a lot better this year and would allow us to clog the lain better then what we are doing right now.

Slow what down? They have 5 steals off of pick-and-pops. That not Kaman's/MyLe's/LMA's fault, that's the passer.
They have made more shots than normal. Their 3pt shooting is 36%, or pretty close to normal.
We haven't turned this into a transition game because of our offensive sets, they've done it because they're running on all misses and being aggressive on D. LMA, while good at a good many things, doesn't do a whole helluva lot in transition D or guarding wing players.

5 steals equals maybe 10 points... Are you seriously trying to argue that we would still be in the same trouble with Aldridge on the floor?

I agree with Brian, look at the box score, LMA has 0pts and 0rbds. He's not even trying.

At least Rolo body checked the mascot. He's contributing to the cause. What has LA done? Nothing.

They have FIVE! We have four. Let's take all of those away and they're still up by double-digits. But they're pretty good at rebounding as well.

What is this "rim protection" you speak of? Would he be guarding Harden? (Hell no). Then he'd be out on D-Mo at the 3pt line? (Hell Yes). And not back on transition D? (Of course). So you're saying he'd be nowhere near the rim when Harden is charging the lane, and nowhere near Brewer as he made open J's? What rim protection are you talking about? RoLo's the rim protector,.

It's my fault... I thought I could watch the game. I turned it on and we were up 1. I turned it off and we're down 20.

When you average in LMA's 0% shooting average tonight with the teams 43% it lowers it to 21.5%. We're lucky we're not down by more than 20pts.

Why are you even arguing right now? Are you saying we wouldn't be playing better with our superstar power forward?
