You guys have a hurt frontcourt tonight, Rockets were on a 2 game losing streak and needed this a lot more. Dropping a home game against a team missing key players would have been bad. As I always say even here, just one game. I doubt many Rocket fans make much of it but it's always nice to get a W over a great team and a team above you in the standings. Shame about the injuries though, Rocket fans go through the injury bug every year.

Well....McHale over plays his starters every single night. Rockets have a few guys that have been to finals, won championships (Both Harden and Dwight been to the finals) so I really doubt they think this was a championship game...Even if the Rockets were playing for "Revenge" playing for Revenge got the Spurs a ring. They were pretty open that they wanted to specifically rematch with the Heat just so that they could beat that specific team. Any ways, i'm out. Not here to brag and boast. I know we'll be seeing you guys again and again hope both teams are healthy.

As one of Nic's biggest supporters, it hurts to call him out, but his play right now is fucking pathetic. Doing nothing on either end of the floor. If he disgraces Pippen's name by comparing himself to the legend again, I'm gonna ecome a hater

Is anybody watching Talking Ball? This Fentress guy they have on is such a douche. He's ACTUALLY defending Hardin's play tonight among other things.

Huh... Meyers was a +8 on the night, the highest +/- of any Blazer.

We need Aldridge. This is one of those games where we need our MVP

    Saying this for years
One game in 82, minus two frontcourt starters on the home floor of a good opponent who measures themselves by us. Like I said, not worried. Our team measures itself now by the playoffs. So long as our guys are ready to go come playoff time, I'll sacrifice a game or two now.

    He actually played well tonight.

There was a moment right before it went to break where Kaman was giving Beibs some instruction on how to guard Howard.. the next possession Beibs did just that. Howard Scored, but it's good to see Beibs learning on the job.

I saw exactly that, too. Kaman was really into giving him instructions too, and Beibs did a really good job making Howard move away from the basket; yeah he hooked it in, but he was farther away than when he got the ball on the low block.

Meyers's release is slower than Saha Pavlovic's though, and I didn't think that was possible. :ghoti:

Meyers had a bad game not long ago but other games where he's gotten some extended minutes, he's played OK.

Yep. And ignoring the traveling calls, offensive fouls and calling anything that breaths on Houston.

Here's the funny thing. The fouls weren't being called and we ran up on Houston. Then they were calling everything and allowed Houston to do whatever the fuck they wanted on us. We go down 10 in the second. Then they allow the game to be played and we come back.

Uh oh says the officiating crew, we better call it right again. Then Houston goes up 20. In the third, we cut it to 14, when the refs were allowing us to play. Time out, refs huddle, then ticky tac fouls and we are down by 20 again

After the OKC game we have a pretty easy stretch of games coming up, with a lot of them at home.
