Now why was the fk not worth a shit on the mound in the Bronx? One of the Yanx higher ranked prospects, who was having a decent year, when he took the hit off of his knee.

He was never the same again, for the Yanx.....Hope Phil chokes on that contract....!

Do you think the Giants are going to make any moves at all? I mean serious ones.

i think its a little late, i really dont want them to sign shields and punt the draft pick though, i guess id prefer them to start the season as is and hope like hell a few prospects develop out of nowhere to either join the big club or become trade chips for a frontline starter at the deadline.

As it was the team lacked power & that was diminished even more so losing the production of both Morse & Sandoval. And they did absolutely nothing to make up for that loss. Not to mention that they still don't have a productive 3rd baseman. A full season of Panek is going to be nice & hopefully Cain can come back to form. I really do with though they we would have picked up a solid bat & don't be surprised if they go after Shields.

The big arena did not suit the dude. Like a deer in
headlights when talking to the New York media.
    Prefers middle Americana.

Twins are chunking out some big bucks for Hughes, Mauer, Nolasco, and Santana. Per their ESPN roster Torii Hunters salary is listed at 14 mil, thought they signed him for 1 year at ten mil. Hope they improve they put out some good teams for a while. The AL Central should be a Doozy if all of those teams play up to par with their new additions. Saw Robertson trying on his White Sox Jersey, looks like he's going the beard route.

New ownership group in SD...O'Malley's are back in baseball. 2015 is gonna be a make/break time for sports in SD. If the city/ voters don't approve a new downtown stadium for the Chargers, they leave. They already canned the convention center expansion, and still no movement on a new airport. No secret the Padres are watching this situation closely. Tons of big businesses leaving SoCal too, tough to sell those lux boxes. Team only owns 30% stake, $150M. They are likely locked in to around 2026 when the public bonds are paid off, Petco name deal up.

It's good to see the O'Malley family back in MLB. They had a bid in for The Bums.

I can't think of one team in history, who ever got such a Sweetheart deal as those L.A. Bums. Stadium built and paid for by the City. All- $$$; 100%, went to the Bums, for all parking fees, concession profits, ticket sales, and a TV channel just for those Bums. NTM- souvenirs, and a ton of other Bums money makers.

The current Bums 8.6 Billion $$ TWB-C contract, may one day ruin MLB as we know it. Shit its already more expensive to take my Family to a Bums game, than to DisneyLand. For one person, I could go skydiving for a weekend, with a hotel room paid for, on top of that. Or many other pleasurable forms of entertainment.

If Rick lived out here, he'd head towards Vegas. After he either lost his shirt, or made off with a bundle in cash. He'd be hidden out until ST, in a underground bondage bunker at the Chicken Ranch. Where- "they raise the best cocks in the world".....I'm talking of male chickens of course...!

Since 1977-88, I quit counting at 500, and that was decades ago.....I can't count beyond 500, Doh-

I got in at least 1300 jumps in all, before I could no longer jump or take the landing, just prior to Lumbar Surgery in 04. So, 77-04. In GA, we used to take our lunches with a jump. Since a small airport was only 1/8th a mile from the Plant...

How about you Tom, do you jump? Cal City has a good set up for jumpers. So does Inyokern....but my favorites were over Independence pass in CO. In the 80s, we did a lot of jumping out of Seattle.....I always wanted to jump in the Grand Canyon, but the shifting howling winds made me think otherwise, I could just see myself going splat.

I did some jumping in GA. which was a great area for jumpers as well. I jumped once in southern Louisiana, but got stuck up to my waist in mud, no shit, tho' it looked like it. My 1 and only Bayou Bale-out...!
