he went off because I had commented about how the crowd would react to a championship.

The reason why I said "not using the finals as a criteria" was because of exactly what you said. Yes, he lead the team to a title, but he hadn't accomplished nearly as much as Damian did in his first 2 seasons. Remember, Bill missed 47 and 31 games his first and second year. That's almost a whole seasons worth of games missed.

I think that has to be taken into account for "best polished pro", although I will concede that not everyone else will take that into account.

After looking at his stats, it's crazy just how many games he missed. In his first 3 seasons, he missed 47, 31 and 17. Then 24, 82, 68, 82, 82, 49, 27 and 15 again.

If we get to Finals, I will go to all the games. Maybe WCF too. I don't know how I'd afford it but I'd do it.

Funny thing is does anybody think we win that series in game 7 if he misses?

Biggest adrenaline rush I've had in a LONG TIME! Everybody was high fiving everyone else after the game and on the street. It was unbelievable.

LaMarcus was completely blanketed by Dwight. If Lillard doesn't break for the ball, and Batum doesn't hit him in stride, it's season over.

Fate is a fickle bitch. It's our time.

I love how the fan in the center has a "clutch city" shirt on. That defensive play was soooo "un-clutch"

those videos are hard to watch, even from the aspect of the Blazers winning the game (and being a Blazers fan). I've been a fan of the Blazers long enough to have been on the other side many many times. it sucks. Time won't heal the wound, a victory in the regular season won't heal the wound.

Hell, beating the Lakers in the 92 playoffs in the 1st round didn't heal 91.

The Rockets should come out in this game and make a statement, and I suspect they'll win easily. But regular season doesn't mean as much, esp when you're talking about getting over something that crushing.

    Damn you Magic...Michael...Shaw/Shaq/Kobe...

GOOD. I'm glad it still hurts. That team had ZERO class last year. The only people I saw with class were Lin and Harden. Beverly, Howard, and Parsons were all assholes. Good riddance.

I can't wait until we face them again with LA and RoLo. Get a little payback for last night.
