Research Paper idea

Here's the deal: For my English course I'm doing my final research paper. Research papers suck, but here's the good thing about it - I get to choose ANY topic I choose.The research paper has to be:6-7 PagesThe time period has to be a decade - "1980s-1990-s" etc.I'm choosing Basketball - but I need a good topic to write about.

You should research the transition of NBA players in the 80' and 90s. Their lifestyle and how much involved of current politics back then. Just do something about the impact of Bird, Magic and MJ had in the 80's and 90's. That kindve thing. Look up charites and stuff they did then.

 

I was just giving 80's - 90's as an example - it could be any decade. Even the one we're in now.

I was thinking of that, but will your prof know stuff about Stern? thats why it could be a weakness to you.

 

lol it wont matter if he doesn't know who that is - thats the point of a research paper. If he doesn't know, he will know by reading my paper.

 

K in that case, I would put David Stern's role of the expansion of NBA outside of the U.S and A

 

Something with David Stern, he's done a lot for the NBA (good and bad).
