A team needs 4 lines TO SCORE GOALS to get through a hockey season and, of course, the playoffs. Glass kills the 4th line. HE IS THE WEAKEST LINK.
How long is the Glass contract for? I thought it was for multiple years for some reason.... Sather needs to trade/do something with Glass to dummy-proof AV yeah. But who can they get to dummy-proof Sather with his consistently shitty free agent signings? Miller is still very young but he has WAY more upside than Glass, no reason why they shouldn't be developing Miller at Glass' expense, regardless of what insane contract he has. The only thing Glass brings that Miller doesn't is true grit/toughness so maybe that was AV's angle against the Devils but you rarely like to see your coach adjust his roster based off an inferior opponent.
