This. My wife and I have spent enough on things for us and around the house over the past 6 weeks. We did a lot for the kids, which was what makes Christmas fun. They had the best time and were so happy and grateful for the gifts they received. My wife and I enjoy life and spend money on the things (assuming we can afford them) at any given time during the year, rather than the couple days of the year that we are supposed to.

I conspired with them to get my wife "12 Days of Christmas", with the three of us working together to compile 12 gifts corresponding to the numbers 1-12. On Christmas morning, they were so excited to see her enjoy the fruit of our labor that they didn't even look at their wrapped presents until she had opened all of hers. got a gift card for a pair of kicks at NIKE ID (custom shop whatever) and have been poking around there, maybe a RIP CITY edition...kinda sucks though, the only signature shoes are Lebron, KD, Kyrie, and Kobe. the "spizike" is kind of a mashup between like jordan 5 and 6, and kinda cool, but not really feeling them...blah could always just go air force 1, or air max i guess
