Pierce bruised his right elbow after a hard fall on a drive to the basket with 5:24 remaining in the third quarter . And shortly before the final buzzer, Szczerbiak landed awkwardly in pursuit of an offensive rebound and sprained his left ankle.The Celtics have two days before they face the Bulls in Chicago. Re: Pierce & Szcerbiak Injured ouch. I thought wally's might have been pretty serious. so unfortunate, on the last damn play.we didn't have too good of a chance in this one anyways, it might be smart for paul and/or wally to play it safe and sit out. more minutes for gerald.

Re: Pierce & Szcerbiak Injured I'm not worried one bit. Wally came down and it looked a little bad at first, but then he got up and walked to the locker room with no help. Pierce was hurt with 10 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter and he finished the game. Bottom line: you could cut Pierce's right leg off, and he would play. Wally, who knows. I think Pierce will play in Chicago for sure, most likely Wally too.
