I'm going to say Bonner in this one too. Scal is a better defender and he's stronger, but Bonner actually has a basketball skill: he can shoot the ball. Scal is basically just a big bodied hustler, nothing more. Bonner is a good shooter, a 6'10'' guy from NH (woot!) that can knock down three's.
The Red Rocket. The difference is that Brian Scalabrine is not good at anything really, whereas Bonner is a great spot up shooter.
Bonner is a sharp shooter, but I think your comparison is off. These are two differant players who like differant styles. Bonner rarely will post you up, and at times just settles for the three, but can put the ball on the floor if need be.Brian does need to fine tune his skill abit more, but I just think Rivers messed up the rotation and Brian isnt fitting in properly, he reminds of Jamaal Magloire in ways, but just less skills, he has the body but no post up moves, Rivers could use this guy as a garbage man, but this way hes a Rafeal Araujo.Definitely Bonner.

Magloire is a center, Scal is a combo forward. Magloire loves money, Scal loves basketball. Magloire dogs it, Scal works hard. Every team Magloire goes to shops him, Scal is a great guy to have on the roster. Magloire has some muscle definition, Scal has tits.

Aside from attitude and position, they both play like garbage men ive noticed.

BCB would gladly back me up on this one.

No comparison really. Scabs tries really hard on defense, but he is stupid. He has to foul to keep up with the pace of the game, and to make up for him being unathletic. If you were watching the C's game tonight, he made the dumbest foul on Hinrich that I have ever seen. He ran straight in to Hinrich shooting the ball. You NEVER foul a jumpshooter. At least Bonner is good at something....Shooting the ball. He just isnt getting any playing time on the deep San Antonio bench.
matt bonner because he can actually contribute to the team by hitting the outside shot. what does scalabrine do except, nothing? scalabrine is garbage and I don't know why he hasn't been moved to the d league or cut. he is so bad. why did danny ainge sign this scrub to a contract? wasn't it like $30 mil?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>why did danny ainge sign this scrub to a contract? wasn't it like $30 mil?</div>it wasn't quite that much, it was $15 MIL, but still that is vastly overpaying a sluggish forward who's good game is 2 points, 1 rebound, 3 fouls, taking a charge, and playing with "heart"

He is a smart player, and he will make an excellent coach some day. That foul on Hinrich wasn't a good one, but if you are going to knock on him for that you have to knock on Pierce too, who fouled him on a 3 before that play. Yeah, Bonner is in a tough situation for minutes down in San Antonio. He lucked out in Toronto because, well, their bigs sucked other than Bosh. Now he comes to a place behind good veterans (Duncan, Horry, Oberto, Elson, Eric Williams). The boy can shoot though. By the way, Bonner grew up about 40 minutes away from me in NH, pretty sweet (not many guys come to the NBA out of NH). <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>You underrate hustle.</div>celticballa, cmon dog, you're no idiot, who are you kidding? Scalabrine sucks, there is no reason why Boston needed to sign him, he's practically stealing money from the boston celtics. I never even mentioned anything about hustling in that post either.
